Dr Huw Adams is a General Practitioner who consults full time at Peregian Beach Medical. He brings a warm, friendly approach to comprehensive, patient-centred care, with a focus on building strong, trusting relationships and supporting each patient’s unique health journey.
About Dr Huw Adams
Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Dr Adams graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 2014. He has since gained broad experience in both hospital and community settings in the UK and Australia.
Dr Adams worked at Sunshine Coast University Hospital between 2016 and 2020 and returned to Queensland after completing his specialist GP training in the UK. He has since achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
When he's not at work, Dr Adams can be found running the trails of Noosa National Park or enjoying the Noosa Markets with his wife, Hannah, and their daughter, Sienna.
